Low Voltage Technician Maintenance Supervisor  

High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift 50 pounds

DUTIES Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Wires telephones and telephone systems. Installs voicemail systems. Possesses knowledge of and repairs paging systems. Synchronizes school clocks. Installs and repairs classroom panic buttons and fire alarm systems. Keeps abreast of new technology related to field. Possesses knowledge of and repairs burglar alarm systems. Possesses knowledge of and repairs ID badge reader/door access systems. Keeps the maintenance supervisor informed about work in order to insure an efficient operation. Demonstrates precautionary measures to insure safety when working with ladders and scaffolds. Possesses knowledge of and repairs security cameras and digital video reorders. Installs and repairs basic Ethernet (computer) network drops. Installs and repairs school bell system. Maintains confidentiality. Works effectively and cooperatively with administrators, teachers and staff. Handles all duties in a timely and organized manner. Installs and repairs electrical wiring and replaces lights. Performs other duties as assigned.
