Company: ProtecHockey Ponds Job Title: Shift Supervisor Reports to: Business Manager Location: Somerset, New Jersey Job Responsibilities:  Supervise scheduled staff in operations, sales and food departments  Cash handling and POS support  Responsible for maintaining facility and building cleanliness  Maintain the arena ice schedules on time including ice surface prep and locker room changeovers  Responds to injuries or incidents as they occur  Document and inform management of any incidents, injuries or causes for concern during their work shift  Police grounds, arenas, locker rooms, rest rooms, food servicing areas, party rooms, lobby and parking lot  Ensure proper equipment is working by participants on the ice at all times  Responsible for open and/or closing the building  Carry out all maintenance orders/projects assigned by management  Perform other duties as assigned by Protec management Job Requirements:  Candidate must have a valid driver’s license  Must be capable of performing a wide variety of maintenance and janitorial duties  Background in Business Management or Operations preferred, but not required  Excellent organization, time-management and people skills  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral  Must be able to handle adversity and trouble shoot any issues that come up during shift  Flexible work schedule-must be available nights, weekends and holidays $9.00-$11.00 per hour All candidates for hire are subject to a background check.
