Company: ProtecHockey Ponds Job Title: Skate Guard Reports to: Business Manager Location: Somerset, New Jersey Job Responsibilities:  Police the skating surface for rules compliance and patron safety  Distribute rental skates  Assist young skaters with skate lacing  Monitor facility cleanliness, light cleaning responsibility  Report all accidents, injuries, and/or problems to manager immediately  Perform other duties as outlined by policy and assigned by your supervisor Job Requirements:  Minimum of 16 years of age  Ability to work nights, weekends, and school holidays  Ability to skate under control and perform basic skating skills  Ability to work effectively with and for the public.  Ability to supervise and control people in a polite manner.  Ability to perform moderate to hard physical labor.  Punctuality with reliable mode of transportation  CPR & First Aid training may be preferred, but not mandatory This is a non-exempt, part-time position.
