RB-No5 Limited Edition Titanium Razor JP Razors is pleased to announce the release of its first of its iconic, limited edition shaving razors. This engineering challenge has required the remodelling of titanium torsion bars from an F1 car. At first glance the RB-No5 razor looks to be a little heavy but pick it up and you will immediately understand why titanium is the favourite metal of F1. “We decided to retain the splined feature at the lower end of the handle. This improved aesthetics and by default provided the razor with the ability to be free standing, almost unique amongst razors. Later we found 5 of the original rear suspension mechanisms, providing the perfect base, mounted on F1 carbon fibre pads”. The handle sits comfortably in the hand with the spline acting as a secure grip. The handle is hygienic and impermeable to water. Given its lightness (our 90 mm sample weighing in at exactly 100 grams; see the video) it has both functionality and superb aesthetics. The razor head has been imported from ATT in USA, after being selected as a quality comparable component. It has been re-finished to bring it in line with our design ethos. The combined result of such attention to detail hails a new era in luxury shaving and truly defines the razor sharp art, delivering a dynamic shave.
