CLUB NEWS: From July 10, 2017 Greetings Fellow Toastmasters & Guests!!! As usual, our meeting was amazing! It was a bit different because we had the officer induction ceremony lead by Mr. Jimmie Roberts. Our new president, toastmaster Toby Breaux opened up the meeting by greeting everyone and John took over to lead us with the Invocation and Pledge. We had 2 great speakers: Toby Breaux and Angela Braach. They were fantastic and we have learned something new from both of them. Toastmaster of this meeting was Mrs. Shawn Hawk, I, Fatima Hani, had the word of the day. Janice Martin became Table Topics Master while Shawn, Brain, and Russel participated in the topics.

Toby became General Evaluator while Jimmie and Terence became evaluators for the speakers. Brian Moore did an incredible job being the Grammarian. We had one guest attended the meeting- Louis Nguyen. In the end Angela won for Best Speaker, while Brain won Best table Topics and Jimmie for Best Evaluator. 2017­18 H.O.T. Officers:
