Junior Professorship (W1 with Tenure Track) in “Computational Social Sciences” INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES I AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY
The successful applicant will be a methodologically excellent social scientist working in the field of new computer-assisted methods for the analysis and simulation of social processes and systems. Her or his research profile and perspectives should complement the research agendas of the Institute of Social Sciences. In particular, contributions are expected in the fields of socio-technical or social transformation, and/or participation and collective decision-making. The successful applicant will cooperate with the Cluster of Excellence, “Simulation Technology (SimTech)”, at the University of Stuttgart. She or he will undertake teaching in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Institute of Social Sciences and is expected to serve in the committees of the University of Stuttgart. The requirements for employment listed in § 51 Baden-Württemberg university law apply.
