Tanah Lot seems to be quit close to the ocean since the water overlaps the edges. The rock is a mix of grey and brown. .ifhe rock is quite mossy in one area of the rock. There' one bit of rock that curves up slightly then drops straight dow0heocean seems to cover a big part of the rock. At high tide, the rQ& looks like a sunken ship. Tanah lot was created from the process of erosion. It's the erosion of water. Water seems to have chipped away all the loose soil and rocks leaving a beautiful rock formation in its place. Later on, a community of people worked together: create the temple on top. Tanah Lot is how used as a tourist attraction and is place for photography. The temple is also still in use for the local people to pray. I
