Mr. Hart Thank you for your call this morning. Here are some of the problems that were described to me. Ms. Stone at 7734 Braxton has cracks in the walls of her kitchen and dining room. She described a very loud noise like thunder when they appeared. She's also experienced soil problems. For example, the front and backyards have sunk, her tree has been replaced three times and she can't seem to get the lawn to thrive. There was some warranty work that was done like nailing in loose spindles in the stair case and replacing a few cabinets. The shifting at her property does not seem to be as bad as the Proctors. However, she contacted me after the interview to say that she has the same model and it too is missing a third support beam in the basement. Mr. and Mrs Runia at 7710 Braxton had a number of issues with flooding. Apparently the common swell between their property and the house next door was not located along the fence line but rather 5 feet into their backyard. Buried utility lines that were supposed to be located in the easement actually cut diagonally across their backyard, preventing them from installing in a lawn irrigation system. They spent over $3000 outofpocket to have electrical circuits restored due to improper installation. They too have experienced issues with cracked walls and bad cabinets. They described a problem with deflection in the basement walls where there was a strong disagreement with warranty people over what amount was acceptable.
