The National Association of Secondary Schools of the Philippines (NASSPHIL), Inc. Teachers Sector announces the holding of the 'Third NASSPHIL National Teachers Congress and Training Workshop with the theme Strengthening Teacher Empowerment in the K to 12 Curriculum, Forerunner of Excellence. This ivi:1 be held on April 28 to 30, 2016 at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, DepED Complex, Meralco Ave., Pasig City. This Congress arid Training Workshop aim to: 1. 'Orient the future teacher leaders on the nature of NASSPAIL Teacher Sector as an organization; 2. update the teachers on the latest trends and development about the K to 12 elementary, junior and senior high school education curriculum; 3. 5uggest wave of promoting :he culture of excellence among elementary and secondary school teachers leading to the development of excellent students: 4. provide a forum for teachers to discuss their role as forerunner of academic excel:ence; 5. discuss the concerns of the fead Teachers; and 6. rovide the teathers a forum to share best practices ard address common concerns and problems in teaching and teaz.litt development.
The invited participants to this Congress are the elementary and secondary sc.hool teachers from both the public and private schools in all subject areas, including the Master Teachers, Department Head Teachers, NASSPHIL Teacher Leaders in the DepED Division and NASSPHIL working committee members in the NCR/rational level.
