Lac qui Parle Valley School District #2853 Board of Education – Special Meeting Minutes November 3, 2009 – 9:05 p.m.

CALL TO ORDER Present: Halvorson, Tebben, Funderburg, Mitchell Absent: Olson, Tostenson Also Present: Superintendent Madsen

CANVASS OF ELECTION RESULTS The Board reviewed the PRECINCT SUMMARY as completed by the election judges indicating that a total of 602 voters in the district voted at the special election on the question proposing renewal of the school district referendum revenue authorization, of which 484 voted in favor, 118 voted against the same, and there were no completely blank or defective ballots relating to the question. The proposition, having received the approval of at least a majority of votes was declared to have carried. Tebben moved, Halvorson seconded to adopt RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF VOTES OF SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTION. Motion carried. Funderburg moved, Tebben seconded to adjourn at 9:15 p.m.
