Tara gives lecture/demonstrations and workshops in classical Indian dance. With elements of storytelling, rhythmic footwork and athletic grace, Kuchipudi relays vivid Taal Tales: Indian stories from Hindu mythology. "Taal Tales" Dance is an interactive program in which students learn the history of classical Indian dance, enjoy audience participation and view performances of dance pieces. Unlike communicating with the written word, communicating ideas with visual design elements is a skill not familiar to most students. To meet that need, I have designed a fast-paced, participatory workshop that is appropriate for any course/grade in which students report their Alleviate Audience work using presentation slides. Students Anguish: Design will gain basic knowledge of human eye and Better Presentation brain anatomy, cognitive psychology, and Slides graphic design principles and learn how to apply that knowledge to improve their visual communication skills. The workshop is multi-disciplinary in both content and audience and aligns with Mass. Frameworks objectives in multiple subject areas.

Our interactive educational tours run yearround and are performed by two professional actors, each playing multiple roles. Our scripts are original adaptations, based directly on literary classics, and include children and adults from the audience. The plays last one hour, with a question and answer session following the performance. We travel to your space and bring our own realistic sets and costumes, designed using extensive historical research, which are flexible enough to fit into any assembly/performance space.

Children in grades K-2 develop an appreciation of our inner and outer differences through a fairy tale, puppetmaking craft, game and conversation. Children in grades 3-5 explore the power and benefits of respect for themselves and others through the hair-raising, poignant, always memorable adventures of Revolutionary War heroine Deborah Historical Sampson. We connect the lessons Deborah Portrayals by Lady www.women-history.com learned about respect and achieving our J dreams to the students' experiences/dreams in this interactive assembly.
