LEOPARD’S PATH VERY IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE FOR MAY: CITIZENSHIP – Being an asset to your family, school and community.
From Mrs. Tolbert: The teachers enjoyed their treats this week: muffins, hand soap, lunch, etc.! Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to make this week special. It was greatly appreciated! Each year we offer the opportunity to purchase a DVD of pictures from this school year set to music. A flyer is coming home today with all the details. The Mini Marathon’s final mile will be TOMORROW, May 5th at Alhambra Park from 9:30-11:00. Volunteers should be there by 9:15 unless instructed otherwise. We encourage family, friends and the community to help cheer on our students as they run. Please park in the Fireman Legion parking lot (next to their building). Rain date is May 9th. Character Carnival: Students have started earning up to 2 tickets each day for good behavior that they can “spend” at the carnival on the last day of school (May 22nd). If you have items at home such as left over Easter goodies, small toys or candy, consider donating it to school so that we can use them for prizes. Kindergarten Parents – On Friday, May 12th, we have our incoming kindergarten students and parents visiting. Your kindergarten child will not come to school on this day. Please make child care plans. PreK students will also not be in attendance due to parent-teacher conferences. This will not count against any perfect attendance awards. Schedule for May 22nd (last day of school): 9:15 – 9:45 Awards and Memory DVD 10:00 – 11:30 Character Carnival 11:50 – Dismissal
