Licensed Psychiatric Technician Computer-Based Testing • Developmental Disability Specialty—LPT-DD • Mental Illness Specialty—LPT-MI Effective Pending Board of Nursing Rule 5 & Rule 6 Changes Rule Hearing: July 26, 2017 COMPUTER-ADMINISTERED TESTING WILL BEGIN MID-SEPTEMBER 2017 Computer-administered testing for the Licensed Psychiatric Technician Examinations (LPT-DD and LPT-MI) has been delayed until mid-September 2017, pending changes to the Board of Nursing Rule 5 and Rule 6. Rule changes are required before the State can implement computer-administered testing at commercial test sites throughout Colorado and the United States. Detailed information and a Candidate Handbook for each exam program (LPT-DD or LPT-MI) will be posted in August 2017 on the Board of Nursing website, under Psychiatric Technician Applications and Forms.
Summary of LPT-DD and LPT-MI Computer Testing •
Beginning mid-September 2017 and upon your eligibility to take the licensing exam for the LPT credential of your application (DD or MI), you will receive an e-mail from
[email protected], entitled SMT Notice.
The subject Line of the e-mail will be: Online Candidate Registration Exam: LPT-DD or LPT-MI. Check your E-Mail filters and “Spam” for this notice. The notice will contain instructions for scheduling the computeradministered LPT-DD or LPT-MI Examination.
Applicants are solely responsible for ensuring their e-mail address, complete mailing address, and all contact information on record with the State are up-todate AT ALL TIMES.
