2 Introduction Maker Studio SD Card Shield is an Arduino compatible smart module supports SD, SDHC and Micro SD cards. It only occupy the SPI port of your Arduino and D4 for chip select. Users can read/write SD card via Arduino’s built-in SD library, it is easy to use. This shield provide you huge of storage spaces in you r application.

4.2 Mechanical Specifications

Description SPI

This SPI interface use to communicate with SD/TF card , D11~13 are occupied, D11: DI, D12: DO, D13: CLK.

Card Holder

There are two standard holder.

Card Select Switch

Select which card you want to use, SD card or TF card. “Big”is SD card, “small”is TF card. They can’t be use in the same time.

D4

Digital pin 4 is occupied as CS, turn this pin to low level before you going to operate SD/TF card.

5 Applications 5.1 Print SD/TF card information Step1: Plug SD Card Shield into Arduino/Makerduino board, Insert SD/TF card into the right Socket, make sure the card selector pointing to the right way (Standard card or micro card);

Step2: Connect USB cable to board and download the example code;

After download the example code and run. In the serial monitor window, you can read information of you r card.
