Mangahigh is a website that contains fun and exciting maths quizzes and activities! In the Maths department, we are having a Maths competition, on a website called Mangahigh. Firstly, what is Mangahigh? Mangahigh is an educational website which offers thousands of Maths activities and quizzes that students can access at home. Unlike other educational websites, it contains games which provides fun and also fulfilment, making students like the subject, Maths even more. What is this competition? In this competition, BST will be competing with other schools in the world. We need as much people to join and represent our school by completing games and earning points. It is aimed for students between the age of 5 and 16 and we encourage students to take part as it can boost their Maths abilities as well as their motivation. Although it is a school competition, it is also an individual one. If one earns more than 150 points between the competition period, you can earn a REAL MEDAL! These medals and certificates will be sent from the organisers to our school and will be presented in assembly. When is this competition? The competition will run from 11th March - 22nd March. Therefore, we ask students to ask their Maths teachers or the Maths ambassadors (the email is below) to get the login ID and the password for the website before the competition begins so that they have an understanding of what to do. It is an amazing opportunity to love Maths and to improve at it. We recommend using this website even if you are not interested in Maths as you can enjoy it and you won’t even feel as if you are doing Maths while playing the games.
