Overview

SWING CIRCUIT FILTER

This graphic shows the layout of the main components located on the upper structure of the machine. The access to all those components is direct or by opening a door or cover. Same on all machines. Left side door access to the batteries, fuse and relay box, fuel level sight glass, refuelling pump and storage place. Right side door access to the engine, pumps and hydraulic oil level sight glass. Front door access to the radiator and coolant level sight glass. On the left side behind the cabin are doors and stairs for access to the upper structure of the machine. On the top are the covers for access to the main control valve, hydraulic oil tank, hydraulic oil filter and the engine.

Components

The operation of the machine is controlled by onboard microcontroller.

Function

The controller is permanently connected to components on the machine which are supplying constantly signals. According to preset parameters the controller is optimizing the hydraulic and engine horse - power for best fuel efficiency.

AEC

An automatic engine control will set the engine to low idle rpm when the machine is not in operation

Mode

Three modes of operation are selectable for different operations. Mode III is automatically selected by travel pedal, when pushed completely to travel forward. Mode II is selected by switch used for normal truck loading. Mode I is selected by switch used for fine and economical machine work.

Diagnostic

The machine operation diagnosis, change of parameters and troubleshooting of the system can be done with the Portable Diagnostic Tool (123 - 6471) or a Laptop - PC running the M300 Electronic Technician (ET) software.

Common Electronics

The electronic is common for all models. The differences are in the parameters for each machine.

Function

Operation

TOWING MACHINE

Because of the transmission design the machine can not be moved without engine running. Both clutches in the transmission are engaged by springs and the transmission is locked. To be able to move the machine on clutch must be disengaged. This is done by inbuilt piston. Use 12mm hex key an turn the piston in until stop. Now the machine is free to move for short distance. If nessecary turn the piston out and in again to be able to move the machine for another distance.

TOWING MACHINE

Lever Bolt

Operation

Because of the transmission design (clutch selection and operation and parking brake release is only possible with pilot oil) the machine can not be moved without engine running. The transmission is equipped with a lever, which disengages the transmission output shaft and allows free rolling of the machine. Lever is shown in engaged position. Remove bolt and turn the lever 90 degrees to disengage the transmission for towing.
