Dear Marinette County Members and Friends, 2016 is an important year for the Democratic Party! There is so much to accomplish in our community, in our state and in our nation. Please consider joining us and actively participating in a community of like-minded individuals who work to make a difference. We do this by becoming informed on issues, volunteering, organizing and voicing our opinions. At the local level we are gearing up for a very active year as we continue to inform our members and the public through educational forums about important issues. Past forum topics have included health care reform, the effects of frac sand mining, right to work legislation, and economic development in northeastern Wisconsin. This year's forums will address interesting and timely social, economic and political topics. Our county party also assists Democratic candidates in their election campaigns. We are reaching out to Senator Tammy Baldwin's office, Russ Feingold's campaign and other candidates, hoping to coordinate with them as they plan visits to our area. Please get involved and make a difference! You can: 1. Renew your membership or become a new member.
