SAFETY INFORMATION SHEET RESIGEN 1.5/10 OS 1. CONTAINS Resigen is a product of Bayer Environmental Science containing 25:75 cis:trans isomeric ratio, public health grade permethrin (97.5 g/l), S-bioallethrin (15.0 g/l), synergised with piperonyl butoxide (11.25% w/v) in an odourless kerosene or mineral oil base. 2. DESCRIPTION A clear, pale-amber coloured, mobile liquid miscible with oil, for use as a space spray for the control of flies, mosquitoes, moths, etc. 3. HAZARDS Fire

Heating may give rise to irritant fumes. Heating will cause a pressure rise in a sealed container with risk of bursting. Flash point approximately 75°C.

Toxic

May be irritating to eyes. Can cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals. Dangerous to fish, other aquatic life and reptiles.

4. HANDLING AND STORAGE Keep in original container, tightly closed, in a safe place. Store in a cool dry place and protect from light. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Keep out of reach of children. 5. PRECAUTIONS Avoid skin and eye contact, and inhalation of spray, by wearing suitable protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of spray. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Do not

apply to surfaces on which food is stored, prepared, or eaten. Remove/cover all foodstuffs before application. Protect food preparing equipment and eating utensils from contamination during application. Avoid spilling or spraying directly on synthetic tiles or plastic. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. Do not apply in the presence of naked flames, hot surfaces or unprotected electrical equipment. Do not spray the moving parts of any machinery, electric motors or switchgear. Polished surfaces may lose their gloss until repolished. This spray is not suitable for use on plants. Mechanical sprayers can be noisy, so the use of ear protection is recommended when spraying indoors or in other enclosed spaces. 6. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING Face shield when handling concentrate. Goggles and spay mask when spraying. Synthetic/rubber/PVC gloves when handling concentrate and applying product. Overalls. 7. FIRST AID Eye

Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. Seek medical advice if there is more than trivial inhalation.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth. Give plenty of bland fluids. Seek medical advice if there is more than trivial ingestion.

Skin

Remove all heavily contaminated clothing immediately and launder before re-use. Wash off skin immediately with plenty of soap and water. Seek medical advice if there is more than trivial exposure.

9. FIRE FIGHTING Keep containers cool by spraying with water. Extinguish with foam or dry agent. Do not use water due to water course contamination risk. 10. HAZARDS Spillage

Wear suitable protective clothing. Absorb with sand, earth or other inert material and transfer to closed container for disposal. Do not allow to enter drains or sewers. Do not contaminate ponds, ditches, or waterways with the product of used container.
