3. Class Policies 1. Everyone must submit an id-picture; send it via email to
[email protected] 2. On Contention of grades. In case of a disagreement with given grades, a student is given one week from the date of receipt of marked examination papers(or homeworks or project) or one week from the date of posting in the class homepage, whichever applies.
3. On attendance. Attendance will be checked occasionally. Hence a policy stricter than the university rule will be implemented. Anyone caught absent more than three(3) times will be given a grade drp if the student obtains a passing grade at the end of the semester. Otherwise, the student will get 5.0. 4. Class Time. The class will be held from 4:05 A.M. to 5:15 P.M. Attendance will be checked any moment within this period. No appeals will be entertained once the attendance has been checked. 5. On Excused Absences. Duly processed excused slips for absences will be entertained at most one week from the date of infraction of absence, unless prior arrangement has been made. An excused absence will be counted as 1/2 absence. 6. On Contention of recorded absence. In case a student want to contest a recorded absence, he/she is given one week from the date of announcement in class, or one week from the date of posting in the class homepage, which ever applies. 7. On Consultation. Consultation hours are reserved for student asking clarificatory questions. It is not meant for discussing lessons missed from absences. 8. On Missed Quiz. All missed quizzes will merit zero. Excused missed exam, with duly processed papers, may be replaced by the lowest score among the other two quizzes. 9. On Cheating. Any form of cheating in examinations or any act of dishonesty in relation to studies, such as plagiarism, shall be subject to disciplinary action. 10.
