Resolution 72-17 Approve Meeting Minutes Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to approve the April 11, 2017 meeting minutes as presented. Yeas: Clark, Davis, Kerman, Jones, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 73-17 Approve Agenda Mrs. Kerman moved, seconded by Mr. Jones to approve the Agenda for March as presented. Yeas: Clark, Davis, Kerman, Jones, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 74-17 Special Resolution for National Teacher Appreciation Week Mrs. Clark moved, seconded by Mrs. Kerman to approve the following: WHEREAS, teachers mold future citizens through guidance and education; and WHEREAS, teachers encounter students of widely differing backgrounds; and WHEREAS, our country’s future depends upon providing quality education to all students; and WHEREAS, teachers spend countless hours preparing lessons, evaluating progress, counseling and coaching students and performing community service; and WHEREAS, our community recognizes and supports its teachers in educating the children of this community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cardington-Lincoln Board of Education proclaims May 8-12, 2017, to be TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Cardington-Lincoln Board of Education strongly encourages all members of our community to join with it in personally expressing appreciation to our teachers for their dedication and devotion to their work.

Resolution 75-17 Accept Donations Mr. Jones moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to accept the donation from Central Ohio Farmers Co-Op of $500.00 for the FFA Banquet, and collection of $899.35 from various donors at the FFA banquet for the meals. Yeas: Clark, Davis, Kerman, Jones, Ruehrmund. Motion carried. Resolution 76-17 Approve Monthly Financial Report Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to approve the Financial Report as presented. Resolution 77-17 Approve Five Year Forecast and ODE Recovery Plan Mrs. Davis moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to approve the district’s Five Year Forecast FY17 through FY21, and the ODE Fiscal Caution recovery plan as presented. Resolution 78-17 Approve Bus Purchase Mrs. Clark moved, seconded by Mrs. Kerman to approve the purchase of a 72 passenger International Cummins C Bus, as previously bid through the Meta Solutions (MEC) consortium buying program. Resolution 79-17 Approve Guidance Grant Final Year Mr. Jones moved, seconded by Mrs. Clark to approve the Elementary Guidance Grant for the final year three funding in the amount of $130,461.
