Mrs. Munoz
In kindergarten it’s important that you are helping your student with their homework at home and reinforcing the things they learn at school! Each day, your child will go home with a homework binder with homework and their behavior chart. They must return each of these items the next day at school. It’s helpful for your child to spend time reading at home each day, even if it’s just for a few minutes!
My name is Yvelia Munoz and I am your new kindergarten teacher! This will be my first year teaching but previously, I was a para-professional at JFK for 3 years. I’m excited to get to know you this year! I am married to Mr. Munoz and have a 13 yr. old son named Marcos. I have lived in Corpus Christi, Texas my whole life. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in teaching at Texas A&M UniversityCorpus Christi.
