Ava Krause and Grace LaBlance Illinois Principal Association Honoree’s for Wolf Branch Elementary & Middle Schools
(Left to Right)
Madonna Harris, Elementary School Principal; Ava Krause; Grace LaBlance; Jennifer Poirot, Middle School Dean of Students
Ava Krause is our Illinois Principal Association's honoree this year for Wolf Branch Elementary School. Out of all the 4th graders Ava stood out among her peers due to her tremendous character, hard work, and leadership. She is constantly striving to do the right thing and inspires others around her to be the best they can be. Ava is a wonderful role model for all of our students. She, along with her parents, and Mrs. Harris attended a breakfast ceremony on April 19th honoring Ava and nominees from other area schools. We are excited and proud to have Ava represent Wolf Branch Elementary School.
Grace LaBlance was nominated by the eighth grade team and voted by the middle school teachers to be recognized by the Illinois Principal Association for her great academic endeavors, leadership skills, and outstanding character. A day doesn't go by that Grace isn't seen with a smile on her face. She continues to leads gracefully by example. Grace was recognized at the annual Student Recognition Breakfast at Gateway Center in Collinsville on April 19th. Congratulations to Gracie! We are very proud of her.

Wolf Branch 8th Grade Trip Camp Wartburg May 11 & May 12, 2017
Any eighth grade student going to Camp Wartburg, who need to take medicine on a daily basis, must have a medication form signed by both the parents and the doctor. The medicine must also be in its original bottle, with the child’s name, name of the medication, and when he/she is to take it. There will be no exceptions. If your child does not have a medication form on file at school, they will not be able to take their medicine with them to Camp Wartburg. This includes any over the counter medicine such as Tylenol, Motrin, Aleve, etc. The school will provide the Tylenol, Motrin, Tums and Aleve. The parents will have to come to Camp Wartburg to give their children any medicine that they may need if the proper forms are not in the nurse’s office. If your child already has a form on file in the nurse’s office, you will not need a new one unless they need other medication than what is on the form. The form needs to be in the nurse’s office at least 4 days before the students leave for Camp Wartburg and the medicine must be in the nurse’s office the day before they leave. If you have any questions you may call me at 277-2100 ext 309.
