• Starting Stack: 1,000,000 tournament chips. Pre-purchased stacks will be “live” on the table from the beginning of the tournament. Late registrants and alternates will be sold a full starting stack. • Blind Level Length: Blinds increase every 60 minutes, except on Day 1E, during which blinds increase every 40 minutes. • Breaks: There will be 15-minute breaks after every 2 levels of play. There will be a 30-minute dinner break after Level 14 on each Day 2, after Level 23 on Day 3, and after Level 33 on Day 4. • Levels per Day: Each Day 1 will play for 8 levels. Day 2 will play 9 levels. Days 3 and 4 will play 10 levels and Day 5 will play until there is a winner. • Players per table: Each Day 1 will play 9-handed. Play will be 9-handed on each Day 2 and move to 8-handed as soon as possible. Day 3, 4 and 5 will play 8-handed. The Final Table will begin with 9 players. • Seating Redraws: There will be a full seating redraw prior to Day 2, 3, 4, 5, and at 16 and 9 players remaining. • Re-entry rules: This is a re-entry event with 1 entry and 1 re-entry permitted until the end of each Day 1, and until the end of the late registration period on Day 2 (end of level 12). Same-day re-entry permitted to any player that loses all of their chips or chooses to forfeit their stack. A player may play additional Day 1s even if he/she has survived a previous Day 1 with chips. If a player has qualified with multiple Day 1 stacks, these stacks may be used to enter or reenter one or more Day 2s. If a player has qualified for Day 3 with more than one stack, only the player's largest stack will move to Day 3; all other chips will be forfeited. • Late Registration: Players may enter (or re-enter) the tournament until the end of Level 12 on Day 2. • Day 2 Selection: Players must play Day 1 and Day 2 at the same venue. Day 2 Qualifiers at Playground must select their Day 2 (A or B) when they bag their chips on Day 1. Availability of seats on Day 2A or Day 2B may be limited based on capacity. • Travel Bonus: Players that qualify for Day 3 via the Day 2 at Deerfoot will receive a $1,200.00 travel bonus to defray costs associated with travelling to Montreal to continue playing in the remaining days of the Main Event. This bonus is not removed from the prize pool and is given to players as added value. • Tournament director decisions are final and players shall have no recourse following the beginning of the next hand. The next hand begins with the first riffle of the cards. • Membership: Players must be Playground Poker Club members to play. Players qualifying for Day 3 at Deerfoot will have accounts created on their behalf prior to their arrival. Membership is free.
