Parent/Community activities were tabled. 1. Marie Merchand parenting workshop – funded by school. Standards and Progress CIS Accreditation –Visiting team from 23rd -25th November. Final report is now published. Report can be viewed on BHS website. Assessment, Recording and Reporting (ARR) English and Maths progress reports were made available on The Gateway at the end of the first term. ISA and INCAs results are available on Gateway. Presentation was done by James. BHS Three Year Strategic Plan and One Year Action Plans 1. Teachers from KJS visited BHS classrooms for a morning. 2. Recommendations from the CIS 5 Year Report will be discussed and feed into next school Development Plans. 3. Performance Coaching – accreditation, by David Fitzgerald and Graham Silverthorne. 4. PLC’s have begun working and will feedback to all teachers in April. Curriculum/Professional Development – were tabled.

PTA approved the IFF Grand Raffle Tickets sales proceeds pledged for BHS Playground improvement – furniture & play equipment. International Food Fair will be held on Friday, 18th March 2016.

2014-15 year-end audit completed by KPMG. There were some issues in some of the schools, mainly in the area of purchasing, receipts of goods and payments. In Addition, the Audit Committee is also concerned with single signatory on cheques in some schools. Paul congratulated BHS for the accreditation success. Child Safeguarding – For many years ESF HR has had measures in place to screen new ESF employees and thereby safeguard children. In recent years, screening has been enhanced and

new staff members have undergone additional child protection related background checks to ensure everyone is safe to work with children. Island School – The Chairman of the ESF Board and CEO arranged a visit for the Secretary for Education and other members of the EDB team to Island School in mid- November. The meeting with EDB to discuss details of the decant arrangements and plans, specifically related to transport will be held early next term.
