IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL STUDENTS All selected and applicant students are required to read, understand and abide by these instructions outlined below. 2. DATE OF ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION All selected and applied students are required to report at Mkombozi College of Technology Mwanza Tanzania on Monday 24th April, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. registration will commence on 9:00 a.m on that day. All selected and applied students are informed that Orientation for the new academic yaer shall commence on Monday 29th, april, 2017. 3. REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION All students shall be registered after fulfillment of the following A. FEE PAYMENT i.

No students shall be allowed to register or attend class unless the required fees have been paid as per Fee instruction.

ii.

Bring the original pay slip with you or bring cash money to the casher in the college.

iii.

Fees paid will not be refunded if a student withdraw or leaves the college without permission.

iv.

However, if a student receives prior permission from the Principal for academic affair to withdraw or to be away from the college and provided that the application in writing to withdraw or to be away

from the college is submitted within two weeks of the academic year or semester, 50% of the fees may be refunded. B. DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION i.

All students must bring Original Certificate or original Result slip of Form Four and Birth Certificate. Note that photocopies, downloaded internet results, faxes, affidavits and certified results are not allowed.

ii.

Students will be registered under the names appeared in the Certificate they submitted for the application. No change of names shall be accepted unless all requirements provided under Mkombozi College of Technology Students’ By-law have been observed.

iii.

Students must register for the course programme, which they have been admitted. No change of programme shall be accepted.

C. DURING AND AFTER REGISTRATION i.

No student shall be allowed to postpone studies after the academic year begun except under special circumstances. Permission to postpone studies shall be considered after the student has produced satisfactory evidences of the reasons for postpone to the Dean of Students or Principal. Special circumstances shall ill health or serious problems.

ii.

No student shall be allowed to postpone studies during the two weeks preceding Final Examinations, but may for valid reasons considered for postponement of examination.

iii.

Students shall commit themselves in writing to be abide by the colleges’ Rules and Regulation as required in the registration form. These rules are available in the college blog: mkombozitecn.blogspot.com

iv.

Students shall be issued identification cards, which they must be carry all times and which shall be produced when demanded by appropriate College Officers. The identity card is not transferable and any fraudulent use may result in loss student privileges or suspension.

v.

Loss of identity card should be reported to the Office of Dean of Students, where a new one can be obtained after paying appropriate

fee (Currently 10,000/=) as stipulated under Mkombozi College of Technology Rules and Regulations. vi.

A student registered for a course programme as Mkombozi College of Technology may not enroll concurrently in any other institution without special permission in writing of the appropriate Faculty of Dean of the College.

vii.

No exemption will be given from the college course which a student may claim to have done elsewhere.

viii.

Any late registration is liable to pay a penalty of Tshs. 100,000/=

4. COMMENCEMENT OF CLASSES Classes will commence on 2 May, 2017. 5. STUDENTS UNDER EMPLOYMENTS Al students who are under employment are advised to settle their release from the duties before reporting at Mkombozi College of Technology. 6. MEALS, BOOKS & STATIONERY i.

Mkombozi College of Technology does not offer meals to students, private run-cafeteria facilities are available on college.

ii.

Students are required to purchase their own stationery, learning facilities e.g calculators, camera, textbooks, etc.

7. PAYMENT OF FEES All prescribed fees shall be paid directly to Mkombozi College of Technology A/C………………………………………………… 8. WORSHIP The Mkombozi College of Technology recognizes the individual’s right of worship. 9. MKOMBOZI COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES Mkombozi College of Technology academic activities run from Monday to Saturday.

10. COMMUNICATION Students are required to consult notice board, blog (mkombozitecn.blogspot.com) for any information that may have a bearing on their academic and social impact for their stay at Mkombozi College of Technology, such as timetable, examination results, news and events etc. 11. DISCIPLINE i. Students are required to demonstrate good behavior within and outside the college. Students must follow Mkombozi College of Technology By laws, rules and regulations. ii. Failure to observe and fulfill Mkombozi College of Technology rules, regulations and by-laws will attract disciplinary action which may include expulsion from the studies
