RTWPB-ARMM Monthly Accomplishment Report June 2016 ON WAGES: With the issuance and publication of the Rules Implementing wage Order No. ARMM-16 in Kutang Bato Star Weekly News last May 18, 2016, the employers, workers and other concerned sectors will now be properly guided for its compliance while those establishments and companies who cannot comply with the mandated wage increase at P5.00/day for Agriculture Sector and P15.00/day for Non-Agriculture have the recourse to file an Application for Exemption before the ARMM Wage Board within seventy-five (75) days from its publication or until August 1, 2016. Under the Wage Order No. ARMM-16, Exemptible Establishments include: 1) New Business Enterprises; 2) Distressed Establishments; 3) Retail and Service Establishments employing not more than ten (10) employees; and 4) Establishments which suffered natural and human-induced calamities. To date, ALIP RIVER Development and export Corporation (ARDEXCOR) has already filed its application for Exemption as Distressed Establishment. The Unifrutti Group with its plantation farms namely: LFI, WDC and MRVI-II has also signified its intention to file related Application while AMARDI, a new Business Enterprise also replayed they will also avail the exemption. ON PRODUCTIVITY: The Wage board Secretariat is also preparing for the next round of Productivity Trainings to be conducted at ARDEXCOR and AGUMIL PHILS. INC. come July 2016. OTHER SERVICES: 1. Provided Counseling to Fifteen (15) client-workers regarding the the current minimum wage and Flexible Work Arrangement; 2. Distributed fifty-two (52) copies of W.O. IRR to different private companies; and 3. Released two (2) news briefs for print publication regarding employees’ compensation program and productivity trainings. SUPPORT SERVICES: 1. Attended the expanded Cabinet Meeting “Presentation of Financial Reports” last June 13, 2016 at Bajau hall ORG Compound, Cotabato City; 2. RTWPB-ARMM heartily gave free iftar in the “Adopt a Mosque Program preidentified by the Regional Darul-Ifta and initiated by ORG-ARMM; and 3. Sponsored the Ramadhan Nightly Program with the DOLE-ARMM Family last June 27, 2016 at Ramadhan Fair, ORG compound, Cotabato City
