Prepayment for meals by the month, week or year is recommended. NO CHARGES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Daily cash payments may be accepted during meal service: however students spend less time in line if meals are prepaid. You can maximize the time your child has to eat lunch by taking care of meal payments at the beginning of the month or week. By prepaying into your student's account by the week or month you can avoid notices being sent home requesting payment. PARENTS OF ELEMENTARY STUDENTS: Place cash payments in a sealed envelope that is labeled with the student's name, purpose for which the money is intended, and amount of cash sent. A receipt can be written for cash payments and sent home with your child if requested. Applications for free and reduced meal benefits are mailed before the beginning of school to each household. Applications will be available at school registration, the District Office, the school office or cafeteria office. Parents are to fill out ONE APPLICATION PER FAMILY. The completed application needs to be returned to the District Office as soon as it is filled out. If you need help filling out the application please call, the District Office at 403-2062. (Students who are applying for the first time in our district for free and reduced meal benefits are FULL PAY until the application is processed in the District Office which usually takes 3-5 days.) Those students who received free or reduced benefits last year will begin the new year on the same status. A NEW application must be submitted and processed for the 2016-2017 school year in order for meal benefits to continue.
