MRS Student Membership, Lower-Income or Lower-Middle-Income Economies •

Students enrolled in universities in countries defined as Lower-Income or Lower-MiddleIncome Economies by the World Bank are eligible for the FREE electronic memberships. Click here for a list of qualifying countries.

To apply, students must print out the Membership Application, complete all required information (indicate Zero Dollars as the student membership fee) and return to MRS: o by mail to Materials Research Society, 506 Keystone Drive, Warrendale, PA, 15086, USA o by email to [email protected] or o by fax to 724-779-4732 Special Note—Application for these special memberships cannot be made via the online membership process.

A copy of the student's valid University ID must be included with the membership application (no exemptions to this stipulation).

All member benefits (e.g., copies of MRS Bulletin, call for papers, other promotional pieces) for these students will be electronic only. Once membership is approved, the student will receive an email with instructions on how to access the member benefits.

Membership in this special program is not automatically granted or renewed each year. It must be requested on an annual basis. The maximum free student e-membership period is five years.
