Hello Pioneer Families!
This week in athletics we have softball and baseball away versus Sutter Middle School on Wednesday and Tuesday our Track team will travel to Hanford High for the Bob Fraley Invitational. Our district is seeking parent input! If you have not completed the district parent survey, the link is below. Your input and feedback is greatly appreciated. Parent Survey: https://goo.gl/V2LYaO On the horizon we have district benchmark testing next week in Math and English. We will also be conducting CAASSP May 1st-May12. Testing will take place during 2nd period, as a result we ask parents to avoid scheduling dental or medical appointments in the morning during our testing window. As you know these assessments are required by the the State of California and take an extensive amount of time, which is why having students present during the testing window is so important. During both benchmark testing and CAASSP testing students will need to bring their headphones to school, so parents please mark your calendars and remind your students to bring headphones and fully charged chromebooks April 24th-28th and May 1st-12th. Lastly, information 8th Grade Banquet ticket money was due April 7th. If you did not turn in your envelope please do so ASAP. Students who are attending without a parent, also need to return their banquet envelop. Additional tickets will go on sale Monday April 24th. Also our PTC is sponsor a Spirit Wear order. While a majority of the items are in adult sizes there are some youth sizes as well. If you are interested in purchasing some Spirit Wear, order forms are available in the Middle School office. All orders are due May 1st. Thank you again for your continued support of Pioneer Middle School! Jamie Rogers, Principal Pioneer Middle School
