Next week our students will begin State Testing! This is a very important time of year for our students and our school. Testing will begin on Monday May 1st and will continue through May 12th. During this time we ask that parents refrain from scheduling appointments in the morning, as we will be conducting testing between 9:30 and 11:00am during these two weeks. Also during this time we ask that students bring HEADPHONES, and FULLY CHARGED CHROMEBOOKS to school. If necessary you may opt to have your student bring their charger, if their device is not charged, but please exercise caution to ensure your students charger is not lost.

Hello Pioneer Families!
This week in athletics we have softball and baseball games, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! Monday we will be home versus Liberty. Tuesday and Wednesday our games are away, versus El Monte and Riverdale. Also this Friday, we are excited to host our first Chess Club Tournament. Play will begin at 1:pm and parents are welcome to attend. Please be sure to bring a photo ID, if you plan to attend. Also this Tuesday is our Annual Spring Music and Art Gala. The Art Show will begin at 5:00PM and the concert will start at 7:00PM. Our district is still seeking parent input! If you have not completed the district parent survey, the link is below. Your input and feedback is greatly appreciated. Parent Survey: https://goo.gl/V2LYaO This survey information is of great importance as it assists me in planning for next year, please take a few moments to provide your feedback on how we are doing. Lastly, additional 8th Grade Banquet tickets will be on sale MONDAY April 24th at 7:30AM. Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis and parents may only purchase an additional two tickets. Parents wishing to purchase additional tickets must have EXACT change, checks are accepted as well. Just a reminder our PTC is sponsor a Spirit Wear order. While a majority of the items are in adult sizes there are some youth sizes as well. If you are interested in purchasing some Spirit Wear, order forms are available in the Middle School office.
