September​ ​10th​ ​2017, Hello​ ​ ​Pioneer​ ​Families! Just​ ​a​ ​reminder,​ ​this​ ​Wednesday​ ​September​ ​13th​ ​is​ ​Grandparents​ ​Day!​ ​ ​We​ ​are​ ​beyond​ ​excited​ ​to welcome​ ​our​ ​grandparents​ ​on​ ​campus​ ​from​ ​8:30am​ ​to​ ​10:50​ ​am.​ ​ ​Grandparents​ ​should​ ​check​ ​in​ ​at the​ ​Office​ ​with​ ​a​ ​Photo​ ​ID,​ ​from​ ​there​ ​they​ ​will​ ​report​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Gym​ ​for​ ​some​ ​entertainment​ ​before traveling​ ​with​ ​their​ ​student​ ​to​ ​periods​ ​2​ ​and​ ​3.​ ​ ​We​ ​hope​ ​your​ ​student’s​ ​Grandparent(s)​ ​can​ ​join​ ​us! This​ ​week​ ​in​ ​AthleticsCross​ ​Country​ ​practice​ ​will​ ​continue,​ ​along​ ​with​ ​Volleyball​ ​and​ ​Football​ ​practice.​ ​ ​See​ ​the​ ​sports section​ ​for​ ​more​ ​information.​ ​ ​Our​ ​Volleyball​ ​and​ ​Football​ ​teams​ ​will​ ​travel​ ​to​ ​El​ ​Monte​ ​tomorrow, and​ ​host​ ​Riverdale​ ​on​ ​Wednesday.​ ​ ​This​ ​Tuesday​ ​our​ ​Cross​ ​Country​ ​Team​ ​will​ ​compete​ ​in​ ​their​ ​first League​ ​Meet​ ​at​ ​Corcoran​ ​they​ ​will​ ​also​ ​travel​ ​to​ ​Hickey​ ​Park​ ​again​ ​this​ ​friday.​ ​ ​All​ ​games/events​ ​will start​ ​at​ ​3:30​ ​PM. Also​ ​this​ ​week​ ​we​ ​have​ ​Picture​ ​Retakes​ ​on​ ​Tuesday,​ ​for​ ​those​ ​students​ ​who​ ​missed​ ​pictures​ ​at Walkthrough​ ​Registration,​ ​or​ ​students​ ​who​ ​wish​ ​to​ ​purchase​ ​picture​ ​packets.​ ​ ​In​ ​addition,​ ​all​ ​PTC Spirit​ ​Wear​ ​orders​ ​are​ ​due​ ​on​ ​Wednesday​ ​September​ ​13th.​ ​ ​Order​ ​forms​ ​are​ ​available​ ​in​ ​the​ ​office. This​ ​Friday​ ​is​ ​also​ ​our​ ​first​ ​PBIS​ ​Reward​ ​Day​ ​of​ ​the​ ​school​ ​year.​ ​ ​We​ ​are​ ​looking​ ​forward​ ​to rewarding​ ​our​ ​students​ ​who​ ​have​ ​shown​ ​positive​ ​behavior​ ​in​ ​the​ ​classroom​ ​and​ ​on​ ​campus. The​ ​end​ ​of​ ​the​ ​1st​ ​progress​ ​report​ ​period​ ​is​ ​quickly​ ​approaching,​ ​please​ ​be​ ​sure​ ​to​ ​check​ ​your student’s​ ​grades​ ​through​ ​the​ ​Illuminate​ ​Portal.​ ​ ​All​ ​students​ ​have​ ​access​ ​to​ ​their​ ​grades​ ​via​ ​the​ ​portal.
