FIRE FIGHTING AND EXPLOSIVE MEASURES

Flammability of the Product: Non-Flammable/Non-Combustible Flash Points: N/A Extinguishing Media for Surrounding Area: Water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foam. Unusual Fire or Explosion Hazards: Containers exposed to fire may rupture violently. Keep containers cool with water spray. Hazardous Combustion Products: Oxides of nitrogen and/or sulfur. Fire-Fighting Instructions: Fire fighters should wear full protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus. Prevent runoff from entering water systems. Keep non-essential personnel out of fire area. Caution, slippery. Section 6

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spill/Leak Procedures: Small Spill:

Prevent spill from entering water systems. Absorb spill on inert material such as clay, vermiculite or kitty litter. Place absorbed material into labeled container for proper disposal. Product may be slippery. Gloves and eye protection should be worn when handling based on staining. Oxidizing material. Stop leak if without risk. Avoid contact with a combustible material (wood, paper, oil, clothing…). Keep substance damp using water spray. Do not touch material. Use a shovel to put the material into a convenient waste disposal container. Finish cleaning by spreading water on the contaminated surface and allow to evacuate through the sanitary system.

EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION

Engineering Controls:

Respiratory Protection: Eye Protection: Protective Clothing:

Use with adequate ventilation. Eyewash facilities should be available. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Handling may cause staining. Do not take internally. Wash after handling. Use personal protective equipment as specified in section 7. Empty containers retain product residue, liquid and vapor, and can be dangerous. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, brase, solder, grind, or expose empty containers to heat, spraks or open flames. Keep containers tightly sealed. Do not store near combustible materials. Store in a tightly closed container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Separate from acids, alkalies, reducing agents and combustibles. Keep locked out of reach of children. Follow recommendations of local, state and federal regulations. Rinse thoroughly with water. Send to a recycling center for disposal.

Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to keep airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. If user operations generate fume or mist, use ventilation to keep exposure to airborne contaminants below the exposure limit. A self contained breathing apparatus should be used to avoid inhalation of the product. Eye protection should be worn when handling. Gloves should be worn when handling to prevent skin exposure. Wear appropriate

protective clothing to prevent skin exposure. EXPOSURE GUIDELINES: Ingredient
