The Consolidated Salary Range (including HRA) for Research Assistant will be Rs.21000- to 31000/- and Consolidated Salary Range (including HRA) for Research Associate is Rs. 36000 to 40000/-. The final salary will decided by the Selection Committee depending upon the qualification and experience. However for Students; consolidated salary (including HRA) will be on a pro-rata basis; subject to a maximum Rs. 15000/- pm for full time and maximum Rs. 10000/- pm for part time. Part time candidates would have to give a no objection certificate from their reporting authority in their existing institutions / firms. The part time positions are open for students who currently do not have assistantship. Students applying for the Research Assistant – part time are required to obtain a ‘No objection certificate’ from their respective Institute. An undertaking by a student as a proof of not getting any scholarship is also required to be submitted at the time of applying. The students of NITIE or outside institutions can take up such research assistantship subject to a maximum limit of 15 hours per week. 9
