My Story about the Tundra

Tundra Animals In the Tundra only small mammals live there because it's very cold. There's a very awesome animal, it's called the "the Artic fox." It has small ears to keep it warm.

Tundra Plants Tundra has a frozen soil it's called permafrost it goes down to 1,000 FEET!!! Also it's nickname is "tundras refrigerator." Some plants use sap as a natural anti freeze so they won't get cold. Other tundra plants are dark because they absorb more heat From the sun.

Tundra Climate In the Tundra it can get very very cold (it can go Down to 93- degrees!!!) you could get a frost bite in seconds!!! Tundra only has 2 seasons no spring or fall. Tundra only has short summers and long winters.

Did you know that the sun is out all summer. It's nickname is "land of the midnight sun."
