Walk-in-interview is arranged for the post of "JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)" in a DST funded Research Project "SMART Foundry - 2020" on adhoc basis. Eligible Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview on 21st November, 2016 at 11.00 a.m. (Monday) at Cabin of Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SGGSI&E&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded - 431 606. The details are as follows :1.

Duration of Project Stipend

Project is funded by Department of science and Technology (DST), Govt of India. This is a novel and exciting collaborative and interdisciplinary program between Research and Academic institutions in India Ten research institute including public and private engineering collages as well as govt. R&D organizations have come together to reinvent metal casting process for education and entrepreneurship. The SMART Foundry system being developed is expected to get young people interested in manufacturing, who can set up small scale businesses, becoming job creators instead of job seekers. The SMART Foundry 2020 team consists of 12 eminent scientists from 10 high ranking institutes.Total project sanctioned: Around 9.5 crores (50.232 lakhs for SGGSIE&T, Nanded) September 2016 to July 2019 Rs. 25,000 + 10% HRA/month (sanctioned by the funding agency)

M.Tech./M.E. degree in relevant branch of Mechanical Engineering preceded by B. Tech. / B. E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile Engineering. Candidates must have a minimum of 60 % (or equivalent) in graduation/post-graduation. Age limit: 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Government of India norms.

*Candidates with exposure to / experience in computer programming related to web enablement, database management, etc with be preferred.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :

i) Candidates have to submit the applications complete in all respect (i.e. Application proforma, resume, two passport photographs, one set of attested copies of all relevant certificates) at the time of interview. ii)

Proforma of application is available on Institute website which can be down loaded.

iii).

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

iv) After the completion of services tenure of adhoc basis shall be automatically terminated and there will not any claim of permanent on the said post as the post are filled up as a stop-gap arrangement and they are not sanctioned by Govt. of Maharashtra. v)

Contract may be extended depending on the performance of the candidate.

vii) The details of the terms and conditions of the services of the selected candidate shall be mentioned in appointment / office order.
