CPE Fields of Study The CPE Fields of Study curriculum is divided into twenty three subject matter areas. They are Accounting, Accounting (Governmental), Auditing, Auditing (Governmental), Administrative Practice, Social Environment of Business, Regulatory Ethics, Business Law, Business Management and Organization, Finance, Management Advisory Services, Marketing, Behavioral Ethics, Communications, Personal Development, Personnel/HR, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Production, Specialized Knowledge and Applications, Statistics and Taxes. These fields represent the primary knowledge and skill areas needed by accounting licensees to perform professional services in all fields of employment.
