Mixed fractions A mixed fraction is when you have 1 whole and a fraction 1 whole Example

A fraction is a piece of something like ⅔ the three is taling you how much you have the two is is what you take away you take away

Sharing fractions equally This is what I learnt this week in maths I learnt how to share fractions equally here's an example. So I have five chocolate bars and there's four people so if I want to share it equally. I need to give each person one hole then cut the last one into quarters and give each person 11/4. There you have it how to share fractions equally. #

The Numerator The Numerator is how much one person will get, E.g. 3 slices of bread 2 people 1 bread slice each, cut the other in halve

Denominator The denominator is how many pieces you’re going to cut your item into.here’s an example:i’ve got one whole chocolate bar and I can break it into fifths and i've got five friends so I give ⅕ each to my friends.there I hope you know what a denominator.
