September 15, 2014 Dear Friends and Neighbors: As you may have noticed, things are moving and shaking at Germantown Mill Lofts, the site formerly known as the Goss Avenue Antique Mall. We want to take a moment to formally introduce ourselves and make you aware of what to expect in the coming months as this property is transformed. Underhill Associates, Brasch Constructors, and Wells Fargo Bank are all proud to announce the commencement of an exciting 18 month reconstruction of this entire city block. The existing structures, which originally operated as a cotton mill beginning in the late 1800's, are on the National Historic Register and will be renovated following state and federal guidelines. We are going to create 183 loft style apartments along with amenities such as ample green space, community centers, and specialty cafes on the site. We think that you will be thrilled with our plan and we look forward to inviting you to a special preview party within the next several weeks to see all of the details as they unfold. Our vision is to create a product that will make Germantown proud and reverberate throughout the neighborhood, encouraging growth, improvement, and value across the board. Underhill Associates, the redeveloper of the site, is a third generation family company with over 40 years of experience in the Louisville Market.
