Blueprint Tools

The Blueprint Tools help with implementing LaMedal code library.

The blueprint development tools enhance the Visual Studio IDE to provide an enhanced developer experience. The framework is a challenge to the idea that coding should be done by Google and the "copy and paste" process.

Start with windows check When clicked, the Blueprint Tools will start when Windows startup

Main form on top check When clicked, the main form will always stay on top

Sub-Forms always on top check When clicked, the sub-forms will always stay on top

Comment Class button

Comment Class This will activate the "Comment Class" tool. In a help systems the are shown in a two column gird where class method names and co edited. This grid will update the source code with the edits done to comments.

Comment Score button Analyze and rate comments correctness and completeness. The blueprint AI system is used to generate help for methods and the result is compared with the documented help. This comparison is converted into different scores that can be used to identify poorly written help context.

Import code button Copy and paste code into this clipboard (for QA) No code should ever be copy and pasted. This screen window helps you to recapture the code in a convenient window that will stay on top.

Comment Method button

Create a comment for a new method Every method needs to be commented. This tool uses the blueprint AI engine to describe methods. The method name, the class where the method is situated and the parameters of the method is used to describe what the method is doing. The AI engine can understand methods in the form "Object_Action"()

Create method shortcuts button Transform a method's interface Many methods once coded can be redefined in other ways making the use of the method simpler and faster. This picture show the merging or morphing of the greatest leader in the world with the strongest man in the world. Method transformation tries to accomplish the same result.

Class network rule checker button Class network rule checker This tool check for problems and inconsistencies within the solution source code. Class networks are checked for compliance to the Blueprint rules that was defined.

Create class hierarchy button

Link classes together in a CTI network In a CTI (Class Transformation Information) network the classes are linked together to form a neuron network and all information and communication are channeled through these pathways. This tool helps with the changing of existing as the definition of new network path.

Template code generator button Template code generator This tool will activate the active templates generator. The code generation templates are extracted dynamically out of the library.

Class network viewer button Class Network Viewer The class network viewer will show a visual representation of the network in a mindmap.

Merge dll's into exe button

Source code scores button Source code scores This tool will score a solution of projects. This provide a score that indicate how big the solution is.

Merge c# code projects button Not implemented yet.

Status bar The statusbar shows the project that is currently the active project.
