February 26-March 2 – National FFA Week There will be various activities during the week to celebrate FFA!
Saturday, March 3 @ Centerville 11/12/1/2 Tuesday, March 6 Lewistown @ Winifred 4:30/5:30/6:30/7:30 Wednesday, March 7 will be our early out for PIR-teacher in-service. School will be out at 2:10/2:15; buses will run at this time. Friday, March 9 is the end of the 3rd quarter. One quarter to go!! Friday is also our last PE Day of the year. The options are skiing or swimming. Ski bus leaves at 6:00a.m. and swim bus leaves at 8:00a.m. Easter Egg Hunt The Preschool Easter Egg Hunt will be on Wednesday, March 28 at 2:00 at the Fellowship Hall. Please start looking for plastic Easter eggs or candy to donate. Drop them off at the school or Roy Grocery. We need them by March 27. Hope to see you there!!
This week we are be running our annual staff's "Kiss the Farm Animal" contest. Each staff member (who is willing to participate) will have their own money box. Students, staff members, and community members are all able to choose which staff member they would like to see "smooch" a farm animal by putting money in their box. Donations are unlimited and excepted by all! The staff member with the most money in their box WINS! Money boxes will be located in Karen's office beginning Monday, and the contests results will be announced at 12:15pm on Friday in the lunch room. All are welcome to come watch. It is good fun, great competition, and ALL proceeds go directly to the Roy FFA Chapter!
GREAT JOB!!!! The Roy FFA Junior Mechanics team won FIRST PLACE at their Spring District Contests earlier this week. The team included Blake Donsbach, Carter Pendergrass, Keith Kalal, and Spencer Pallas. Hard work pays off!!!!
