application regarding likely impact on the environment, consequent to proposed event on the bank of river Yamuna. Learned counsel Mr. Pradeep Mishra files report today in pursuance to our order and submits that Hon’ble Member of Parliament who intended to hold the Event on the bank of Yamuna has written letter to the District Magistrate, Mathura under whose jurisdiction that area falls and who granted approval for one day Holi Sasotsav Cultural Programme

Vishramghat, Mathura City on 23rd March, 2018, that the Event now cancelled in view of the shifting of venue of the Event. In the circumstances the petition has become infructuous as the event which was likely to be held as was proposed earlier, has since been shifted. However the Learned Counsel appearing for the applicant submits that debris are lying on the spot as a result of step taken for setting/preparation of the event.

Mr. Pradeep Mishra,

Adv. submits that no debris is lying in the spot. Be that as it may in case any debris has been dumped and if any activity has taken place on the bank of river Yamun, the same shall be removed and damage if any shall be set right by the Respondent No. 2 and 5 under the supervision of Respondent No. 4 Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate concerned. With these observations Original Application No. 58 of 2018 stands disposed of. No order as to cost.
