Essential Qualifications, Experience etc. 1. PG Qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized by CCIM/Ayurved Vachaspati, M.D.(Ay.) of University of Rajasthan in the concerned Subject. 2. 7 Years as Reader (Associate Professor) in PG Teaching in the concerned Subject OR 12 Years combined experience in PG Teaching in the Subject concerned (as Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) and Research. Desirable: 1. Ph.D. in Ayurveda/Extensive Experience in Research 2. Working knowledge in Hindi and English. 1. MS(Ayurved) in the Subject of Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga from a recognized University and duly recognized by CCIM. 1. MD(Ayurveda) in the Subject of Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajaya Kalpana from a recognized University and duly recognized by CCIM OR M.Pharma (Ayurveda) from a recognized University. 2. 3 Years Experience in Managing and Supervising a reputed Pharmacy Manufacturing Ayurvedic Medicines. MD(Ayurveda) in the Subject of Panchakarma from a recognized University and duly recognized by CCIM. MD in Pathology from a recognized University. M.Pharma/M.D. in Pharmacology from a recognized University OR M.Sc. with Ph.D. in Pharmacology. M.Sc and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from a recognized University.

GENERAL INFORMATION              

For the Posts of Professor and Associate Professor, the Details of PG Teaching Experience should be indicated separately in Col. No.9 and a Certificate from the Principal concerned certifying that the said College/Institute has the Regular PG Course in the Subject concerned during the period for which the Candidate claims PG Teaching Experience. In the absence of such a Certificate, the PG Experience claimed will not be treated as PG Experience. The candidate must be a citizen of India. Any experience gained on part-time basis, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty will not be counted as a valid experience. 1 Post of Lecturer is reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The Upper Age Limit prescribed shall be relaxed by 5 years in the case of Persons belonging to SC, ST, Women Candidates and Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC Candidates, as per Rules. The Upper Age Limit prescribed shall not be applicable to employees of the Institute. The Pay Scales carry usual Allowances admissible as per Central Government Rules and applicable to the Institute. The New Pension Scheme of the Government of India is applicable in the Institute. The Cast Certificate should be in the manner and Form prescribed by the Government of India. Candidates already in Government service must send their Application Through Proper Channel and such Applications should also reach by the Last Date. Hower an Advance Copy may be sent. The Institute may conduct an Objective Type Written Test to shortlist Candidates for Interview for any Post (except Professor and Associate Professor) depending upon the number of candidates applying for such Posts. The Test shall be of 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 100 Marks and of 1½ hours duration covering the Syllabus of BAMS and the Subject concerned of MD/MS(Ayurveda) in the case of the Posts for which a Post-Graduate Qualification in Ayurveda is essential and for the remaining Posts, covering the Subjects concerned. Candidates applying for more than one Post should send separate Applications for each such Post along with the prescribed Application Fee. An Application Fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC and ST Candidates) by DD in favour of “Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur“ should be enclosed with the Application for each Post. Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, to withdraw the vacancy of any Post and to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever. Director reserves the right to make any amendment, cancellation or changes regarding this Vacancy Notification in whole or part without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever. Any corrigendum, amendment, order etc. regarding this Vacancy Notification will be displayed only in the Website of the Institute and will not be published in newspapers.

Last Date of Receipt of Application: 20th May 2016 (Friday). The Filled Application, affixed with a recent Passport Size Photograph pasted on the Upper Right Corner and duly, self-attested, along with the Fees and self-attested copies of all the relevant Certificates etc. should reach the Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jorawar Singh Gate, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 by 20th May 2016 (Friday) The Institute will not be responsible for any delay in the receipt of any Application. Applications received after the Last Date or Applications incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected without any intimation. Applications will not be accepted by E-Mail or Fax.
