I graduated from Bangor university with a strong 2:1 in Marine Biology and Zoology, since leaving university I have travelled abroad for work and pleasure. For the past few years I have worked in the field of Marine biology and this has helped develop my passion for conservation of marine and terrestrial life. Through my work and at University, whilst I was a senior peer guide, I have acquired many people and supervisory skills.

Interests
I have previously been a member of a University canoe club, and was secretary of the University mountain climbing club. I am very keen on travelling having worked in Japan and visited Australia and parts of Europe. I also enjoy sports of all kinds.
Other Achievements
I have a full clean driving licence. During my time at Bangor university I was a senior peer guide for two years and a representative for the university. This involved organising, co-ordinating and supervising events for up to 40 new students. During my time working at the Sealife centre I have completed many training courses including; how to train new staff and volunteers, managing your time and fish husbandry and diseases. In addition to that I have gained qualifications in customer care and health and safety at work. I am also a BSAC qualified scuba diver.
