Government of India NITI Aayog Atal Innovation Mission Recruitment of Experts for Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) Including Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) Government of India has established Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) including Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) in NITI Aayog. The overarching purpose of this Mission is to augment the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in India and find ultra-low cost solutions to India’s intractable problems. The Mission is implementing establishment of 457 Atal Tinkering Labs at schools, setting up 10 Atal Incubation Centres and providing scale up of 6 Established Incubation Centres. These initiatives and other capacity building programmes will be pursued and expanded further. NITI Aayog is hiring five (5 nos.) young dynamic professionals to work as Experts having experience in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, scientific temper, creating awareness at the grass root level, managing programmes for establishment of incubation centres to support startup business in technology driven areas. Experts Five (5 Nos.) Contract basis Up to Rs. 1.50 lakh per month (consolidated inclusive of all taxes). However, it will depend upon qualification and experience of the candidate at the time of selection. Initial appointment up to March 31, 2020, which may be extended as per Government orders Essential: (a) Master’s degree in Science/ Economics, or Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technology. (b) Minimum 3 years of work experience (as on July 15, 2017) in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, financial / business management, analytical work. Desirable: (1) MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management. (2) Demonstrated ability to independently manage assigned tasks, and to work with teams to ensure timely delivery of quality deliverables, (3) Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders/clients within, across, and outside large organizations, strong

Some of the indicative duties are: (i)

Support roll out, management and monitoring of grants under the various initiatives of AIM. (ii) Undertake applied research for areas related to initiatives of AIM. Undertake primary/secondary research with AIM stakeholders/grant recipients. (iii) Interface with partners and stakeholders to process the projects. (iv) Support execution of facilitation and launch events. (v) Independently manage the monitoring and verification of programs. (vi) Develop training programmes for education of Entrepreneurs, Innovators, start-ups. (vii) Establish relevant national and international linkages required to develop the innovation ecosystem in the country. (viii) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
