Race No 5 – Quick, Slick Six – p/b Halter’s Cycles Six Mile Run 102 Jacques Lane Somerset, NJ 08873

Sunday June 11th, 8:30 AM Course Description Once we thought of the title, we just had to use it – the dirt at Six Mile Run has a high clay content, so the moment there is any moisture in the ground, things get pretty slick in a hurry, so be careful out there (of course, if there is excessive moisture from rain in the days leading up to our race, we would cancel so as to not destroy the trails by racing on them). The NICA course features a fun mix of twisty, punchy single track and power-on stretches of double track. Not a huge amount of climbing (only around 250’ per lap), but definitely enough for you to feel a good sting in your legs. Strava Course Map

Pre-Ride The course will be open for pre-ride Saturday afternoon (2:30 5:30 PM) and Sunday morning (7:00 - 8:00 AM). We strongly recommend that all racers pre-ride the course and bring a map, plenty of water, cell phone and not ride alone. Please pass course workers with great care, and stay off the course outside of the above times.

Limited Parking Parking is very limited at this venue, please carpool with team mates if at all possible.

Neutral Support Neutral support will be provided by Halter’s Cycles. And our thanks to the awesome crew at Halter’s – not only for their race-day support, but also for making it possible for us to race at Six Mile Run!
