Morning Program (Mon-Fri Gr. K-5): Students can work on puzzles, build with LEGOs, play with friends, and complete homework. FEE: $15/$30 Activity Hour (Gr. K-1): Work on your homework, play games, share with friends, play outside, and enjoy your afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere. NO FEE Homework Club (Gr. 2-5): Work on your homework with the support of Northwest’s certified teachers. NO FEE Spelling Bee (Gr. K-2): Come master your spelling and improve your vocabulary in our weekly spelling bee group! FEE: $15/$30 Girls At Work (Gr. 4-5): Learn woodworking and how to safely use power tools in this supportive, fun and safe environment. NO FEE

++ This group will be bused to the Girls At Work location at 4 Elm Street. The bus will return to Northwest by 5PM. Educational Computer Games (Gr. K-2 or 3-5): Learn and have fun while playing educational computer games like Sudoku, Word Detective, Cool Math, and more. (Student Choice) NO FEE New Hampshire History (Gr. K-2 or 3-5): Learn all about the history of where you live - the great state of New Hampshire! FEE: $15/$30 Outdoor Art (Gr. 1-3): Head outside and create works of art around Northwest! FEE: $15/$30 * FIRST LEGO League JUNIOR (Gr. 1-2): ENROLLMENT IS CLOSED. Please fill in the appropriate spot in Course Selection if you are currently enrolled. This class focuses on STEM concepts while engaging students through LEGOs. NO FEE * Starfish Corps (Gr. 3-5): ENROLLMENT IS CLOSED. Please fill in the appropriate spot in Course Selection if you are currently enrolled. A service program designed by City Year to develop young leaders and a strong Northwest community. Build skills and self-confidence through fun lessons and service projects. NO FEE * FIRST LEGO League (Gr. 4-5): ENROLLMENT IS CLOSED. Please fill in the appropriate spot in Course Selection if you are currently enrolled. This class focuses on STEM concepts while engaging students through LEGOs. NO FEE Yoga (Gr. K-2 or 3-5): Come find your balance and learn all about the art of yoga. FEE: $15/$30 Candy Science (Gr. K-2 or 3-5): Come conduct cool science experiments involving everyone’s favorite subject: candy! (Student Choice) FEE: $15/$30 CATCH! Healthy Habits (Gr. K-2): Learn about healthy eating and physical activity, and develop lifelong healthy habits alongside the CATCH volunteers! NO FEE Outdoor Games (Gr. K-3 or 3-5): Spring is here! Get out and play your favorite outdoor games. NO FEE Karate (Gr. 3-5): Come learn about karate and martial arts with The Training Station from here in Manchester. Spring Arts & Crafts (Gr. K-2 or 3-5): Come create cool works of springtime art! FEE: $15/$30 LEGO Land (Gr. K-3): Use LEGOs to design and build anything your mind can imagine. (Student Choice) FEE: $15/$30 Sign Language (Gr. 1-3): Learn the basics of sign language and talk to your friends without saying a word. HOW TO PARTICIPATE 1. Choose the desired classes with your son/daughter. Sign up for as many classes as you wish. Classes are on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Circle your choices on the course schedule (on back) and keep for your records.

2. Complete both sides of the registration form below. A separate registration form is required for each student. Incomplete forms will delay registration.

3. Return the registration form along with payment (check, money order, cash) to the main office of your school. Please make checks payable to the Manchester School District. A $30 fee will be assessed for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

COST A non-refundable registration fee of $5 will be assessed for each student enrolling in the afterschool program. The cost for each class is as follows: $15 if the student receives free or reduced lunch $30 for all others. Unless noted, the fee per course covers the entire session. Families with more than one student enrolled may qualify for reduced rates. Financial aid and scholarships are available. Please contact your site coordinator for more information.

THE FINE PRINT 21st CCLC

The wants your son’s/daughter’s after-school experience to be a positive one. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for all participants. Please review the following information with your son or daughter. BEHAVIOR STANDARDS - Students participating in the program are held to the Manchester School District’s Behavior Standards. Repeated disruptions or disrespect for others and/or for their property may result in removal from the program. DISMISSAL - Students will be dismissed from the program as indicated on your registration form. You must notify the site coordinator in advance if you are unable to pick up your student as designated. Failure to do so will result in a maximum waiting period of thirty minutes. If we are unable to contact you during that time, we may contact local authorities. A late fee of $5 may be assessed for every fifteen minutes after the designated pick up time. ABSENCE FROM PROGRAM - In the event of an absence from program when the student was present for the school day, contact will be attempted by 3:20pm to both parents and a voicemail will be left if direct contact was not possible. CANCELLATION - The program does not operate on holidays, school vacation periods, or early release days and will be cancelled when schools close due to inclement weather or unforeseen events. Notification will be made through the school’s standard procedure. In these cases, courses will not be rescheduled and fees will not be refunded.
