Trailwood Traffic Lanes After meeting with representatives from the Traffic Division of Fayette County, the Board agreed to go with the least expensive method of slowing traffic along Trailwood. (No cost to the HOA) According to the city, studies show that defined traffic lines help reduce speed. We anticipate with the completion of Citation Blvd. and the expansion of Leestown Rd. the traffic flow will diminish. However, if after the completion of Citation Blvd the issue has not been resolved, we still have the possibility of installing a speed table, at a cost to the HOA. We anticipate the HOA Board at that time can revisit the issue.

Parking is still an issue within our community Remember to be a considerate neighbor by not blocking someone else’s driveway or mailbox. Incorrect parking in cul-de-sacs can especially make it difficult for residents to get out of their driveways or even turn around. Our mail carriers ask especially in the winter, do not obstruct the mailboxes. If blocked you may not get your daily delivery. This winter we have contracted to have our streets salted and/or plowed. Illegally parked cars may be an issue and prevent the truck access to maintain your street. Parking within 10 feet of a stop sign is illegal.
