Sunday School (10:00-11:15 am) We desire to partner with you as you seek to raise your children in a community of faith and family. Our volunteers have completed the “Reducing the Risk” material and a Police/Back Check. Here’s what’s available:
Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel once wrote, “In the word question, there is a beautiful word—quest.” While that may be true, there are some quests that leave explorers unsettled such as the role of God in human suffering, evil and eternal damnation. This mini-series will attempt to answer some tough questions that plague Christ-followers and help lead explorers upward. Worship Leaders: Dave Cliffe & Jon Swartz Scripture & Prayer: Scott Burton Host: Sandy Wilkie Speaker: Bill Thornton
Remember in Prayer
• Pray that many orphaned and impoverished children will be able to receive an education and hear about God’s love through the Village of Hope in Burkina Faso, a ministry of International Teams. • Pray that the Ministry of Environment and City of Hamilton will approve our septic system design and other items by early December. • Pray that we would be generous with our time, skills and finances out of gratitude for God’s goodness. • Pray for Audrey Roberts and family in the passing of her beloved husband, John. • Pray for the health concerns of Jessica Robb (recovering from ApiFix surgery), and Judy Postma (cancer). • Pray for Grace Dath as she worships from home. • Trinity Western University was denied accreditation of its law school. The Law Society of Upper Canada has rejected TWU because of its view on traditional marriage and it’s “distinctly Christian” environment. Because of this, legal challenges have been mounted in British Columbia, Ontario and Nova Scotia. An appeal by TWU is scheduled for November 30 and December 1.
