Important Instructions: This is a mandatory release. Users will be able to trade in live environment from Monday, September 02, 2013 only with the following versions of software. a. b.

NEAT+CDS 3.0.5 or/and API version 1.1 Trading Access Point (TAP), For Windows: Version 1.1.2 (TAP_1.1.2_Setup.exe) For Linux: Version 7.0.4 (TAP_7.0.4_Setup.sh and TAP_7.0.4_SetupFiles.zip)

As part of abundant backup measure, it is proposed to use the current version in case of any unintended technical failure. Hence users are required to retain the existing version of NEAT+CDS / Non-Neat Front End to revert based on instructions from Exchange. Annexure 1 1. Trades resulting from the mock session shall not attract any obligation in terms of funds and / or securities pay-in and/or pay-out. 2. Members are requested not to transfer any data files for the mock session. 3. Members are advised to also refer to the website of NSE at www.nseindia.com for any information which may be updated by the Exchange regarding the mock session. 4. Members using NEAT+CDS and CTCL facility (i.e. using their Non-NEAT software) are advised to participate actively in the mock session and are required to re-login into live environment during the above mentioned timings to check the connectivity and also to avoid login problems on Monday, September 02, 2013. 5. NEAT+CDS and Non-NEAT users are advised to retain the current version as a backup till further notice to revert to earlier version, when instructed by the Exchange.

ANNEXURE – 2 Installation procedure for NEAT+CDS (Version 3.0.5) Precautions:     

Members are advised to install the new version only after the end of live trading hours and after all end of day activities have been completed on Friday, August 30, 2013. Members are advised to take back up of all report files before upgrading the software. Members are advised to save the client master details in a file using the save option given on client master dialog (Do not keep the file in NEAT-CDS folders). Members are advised to save the debarred client details in a file using the save option given on debarred client dialog (Do not keep the file in NEAT-CDS folders) Members are advised to take backup of Market watch using the export functionality (Do not keep the export file in NEAT-CDS folder)

Installation:           

Installation files shall be available after 5 PM on Friday, August 30, 2013. Installation files can be downloaded from NSE EXTRANET path /cdsftp/cdscommon/NEATCDS305 Download the setup file „NEATCDTWSSetup.exe‟ to your hard disc in the root directory (i.e. C:\ or D:\ or E:\). Go to the drive where NEATCDTWSSetup.exe is copied. Double click on the NEATCDTWSSetup.exe. The files will be extracted with the window pop up „NEATCD TWS Installer extracting files‟. It will be followed by „NEATCD Installer‟ pop up window. Installation drive (where application will be installed) will be C: by default. The user can change the default installation drive to any other local drives (e.g. D: or E:) Click on „Install‟ button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions. Message of successful installation will be displayed once the complete application is installed. The user can run NEATCDS TWS application by double clicking on either of the following: a. NEATCDS TWS shortcut icon created on the desktop. b. NEATCDS TWS entry in the „Programs‟ sub-menu of the „Start‟ menu. c. NEAT-CDS.exe located in the NeatCDDB-TWS directory in the installation drive.

Updating the new version with latest data: 

 

Download following files from NSE EXTRANET path /cdsftp/cdscommon/ onto the logon drive: 1) cd_contract.gz 2) cd_participant.gz 3) cd_spd_contract.gz Unzip the above files From the log on screen click on the “UPLOAD” button to update contracts and participants details.

ANNEXURE – 3 Precautions and procedure for reverting to earlier version NEAT+CDS (Version 3.0.4) These instructions are required to be followed to ensure that members are able to revert back to old version of NEAT+CDS 3.0.4, as and when instructed by the Exchange. Steps to be followed for reverting to old version of NEAT+CDS (Can be tested in Session – 3): 

Use the backup version (NEAT-CDS 3.0.4) or download the set up file for old version „NEATCDTWSSetup.exe‟ from NSE EXTRANET path cdsftp/cdscommon/NEATCDS304 to your hard disk in the root directory (i.e. C:\ or D:\ or E:\). If prompted, choose to overwrite the existing file. Kindly choose the same drive where the proposed new version was installed.  Go to the drive where NEATCDTWSSetup.exe is copied.  Double click on the NEATCDTWSSetup.exe.  The files will be extracted with the window pop up „NEATCD TWS Installer extracting files‟.  It will be followed by „NEATCD Installer‟ pop up window. Installation drive (where application will be installed) will be C: by default.  The user can change the default installation drive to any other local drives (e.g. D: or E:)  Click on „Install‟ button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions.  Message of successful installation will be displayed once the complete application is installed.  The user can run NEATCDS TWS application by double clicking on either of the following: a. ANNEXURE – 4 Precautions and procedure for upgrading & reverting TAP Steps to upgrade CD TAP (For mock sessions 1, 2, Re-login & Live trading) 1) Ensure that new installer version (Trading Access Point (TAP), Version 1.1.2 (TAP_1.1.2_Setup.exe) for Windows, and Version 7.0.4 (TAP_7.0.4_Setup.sh and TAP_7.0.4_SetupFiles.zip) for Linux) is installed. 2) Go to the „Config_Utilities‟ folder inside TAP folder at installed path. 3) a) For Windows: Change the CD TAP Box Version to 70205, by running the "Upgrade_CD_TAP_1.0_Setup.exe" b) For Linux: Change the CD TAP Box Version to 70205, by running the "./Upgrade_CD_TAP_1.0_Setup.sh" Steps to revert the CD TAP (For mock session 3 to test the revert procedure) & when instructed by the Exchange 1) Go to the „Config_Utilities‟ folder inside TAP folder at installed path. 2) a) For Windows: Change the CD TAP Box Version to 70105 by running the "Revert_CD_TAP_1.0_Setup.exe" b) For Linux: Change the CD TAP Box Version to 70105, by running the "./Revert_CD_TAP_1.0_Setup.sh"

ANNEXURE – 5 New Functionalities Change in the procedure of Trade Modification in the Currency Derivatives Segment

In modification to Exchange consolidated circular No. 007/2012 (download no. 20614) dated April 24, 2012; members are advised to note the change in the procedure of trade modification in the Currency Derivatives Segment as follows: 1. Members must take steps to ensure that orders are placed for PRO or CLI correctly. 2. In case of CLI orders members are advised to ensure that CLI code is stated correctly. 3. As an exception basis, the Exchange allows members to modify client code. Members are advised to ensure that this is to be used only in case of exceptions. 4.
