Circular Ref. No. : 249/2016 To All Members Sub: Provisional List of sub-brokers eligible for renewal fees. The Exchange vide circular ref. no. NSE/COMP/26781 dated May 26, 2014 earlier intimated the members about the changes in sub-broker registration fees pursuant to SEBI (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2014 amending the SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992. As per the amended regulations, in respect of sub-brokers registered during the period August 01, 2006 to March 31, 2007 and April 01, 2011 to March 31, 2012, fees for block of five financial years ending March 2021 shall become due on April 01, 2016. In this connection, the members are hereby informed that: 1. The letter containing provisional list of sub-brokers(s) has been sent through FTP (Path: memltrs\dnld) 2. In case of the sub-brokers who do not wish to continue their business after March 31, 2016, the broker shall stop dealing through such sub-brokers and surrender their (sub-broker) certificate of registration so as to reach the Exchange on or before March 20, 2016 to avoid renewal fees payment. Accordingly, members are requested to note that in case of sub-brokers where applications to cancel SEBI sub-broker registration is not received by March 20, 2016 as aforesaid under point no. 2, renewal fees shall be collected by the Exchange by way of debit to the Exchange dues account of the respective members after March 31, 2016.
